Migration to PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 is finalized as of January 1st 2020 according to the PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 Migration plan as agreed in the community upon release in Q1 2018 and as announced by Difi in Q1 2017.
Based on the latest update from OpenPEPPOL, we will allow use of the discontinued profiles, PEPPOL BIS Billing 2.0 (all profiles) and EHF Invoice and Credit Note 2.0 (all profiles) also in the beginning of 2020. The following changes are made to the phase out of the discontinues profiles in ELMA:
- Support for the profiles for new or transferred registrations in ELMA will be disabled January 8th 2020.
- Difi urge all service providers to remove support for the discontinued profiles.
Further use of the discontinued profiles is at the sender’s and receiver’s own risk. From January 2020 onwards, OpenPeppol will consider measures including, but not limited to, publishing records of non-compliant receiver registration, initiating compliance breach handling procedures towards Service Providers that still facilitate it, and removing deprecated document identifiers.
